«Men of Football | Player’s Aesthetics» is a football and art project.

Men of Football’s mission is to highlight the aesthetics of the sport of football, but especial-postly the aesthetics of the football player through images, videos and snapshots.

Men of Football is a project by Aexraex.
For this art concept Men of Football works together with professional football players and photographers.
Finally, Aexraex works out the special aesthetics of each player and visualizes them in an artistic way.

Football and aesthetics

The footballer strives for sporting perfection. He works not only on his mental abilities, such as working out a strategic and tactical advantage for himself and his team, but rather on his physicality, in order to be able to perform efficiently on the field, for which he trains his body and his being every day.

Through this training, the player develops a combative nature so that he can score goals with his team on the field and win the game, thus winning.

Strong legs, strong calves, a muscular and well-toned body make a professional football player. Men of Football focuses on the aesthetics that are inherent to the sport of football.

The interaction of muscles, strength and passion only become perceptible to us by capturing a moment in an image. It is precisely these perceptions, sensory impressions and emotions that Men of Football describes with the concept of aesthetics.

It is the individual players who, with their body, their technique and their essence, allow a football match to be transformed into a work of art. The football player is not only an aesthetic athlete, but a fighter and an artist.
